This Spanish city is so alive and vibrate, with their friendly locals and fantastic architecture and culture. It is the party town of Spain. Loved by many Australians and travellers alike, it really is bursting with things to do and see.
Ebookers are doing bargain deals on flights to San Sebastian from £270 flying with Iberia. For a beautiful three star hotel, the Barcelo Costa Vasca is truly fabulous. For a three nights stay in this gorgeous hotel, prices start from £290 including your flight. It is set in a peaceful residential area, metres from the beach that shares the same name. However, if you are not scared you of splashing some cash then the Hotel Maria Cristina is amazing. The hotel is four stars but is complete class. It is set in the heart of San Sebastian situated between the beaches La Concha and La Zurriola. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful gardens that will heighten the feel of your entire stay here.
San Sebastian really is a great summer city to explore and stretch your legs for.
The Basílica de Santa María del Coro is a fantastic sight and must be seen. The Church was built that has been a religious sit for many years. Lucky the structure was untouched during the war and the entrance is still the main attraction to this wonderful Church. For a great Museum, the Museo Chillida Leku is a great dedication to the Artist and Native of Eduardo Chillida. The Sculptor’s work spans the 20th Century with open space monuments that really capture the pieces. It is best to get the Calle Oquendo bus from San Sebastian, which takes only half an hour.
For a great Restaurant, The Akelarre is ideal. Situated on the Igeldo, it has some amazing countryside and sea views to bring that extra magic to your Spanish meal.
If you want an evening with more then a bar called Hollywood is a place with some difference. The décor is set up like an old Western Salon with Classic movie stars, paved all over the walls. Entry is roughly 7 Euros and food is also available if you fancy something to nibble.
Just walking around the old city at night will get you into the spirit of the city and seeing all the bars and vibrate characters will certainly get you in the mood for a good night out.
San Sebastian does have many amazing beaches to explore and lay upon. The Family atmosphere is very relaxing and having a read of your favorite book on the beach will get you into the holiday mood. This City is a cultural experience and will be very different to anywhere you have traveled before. It is defiantly a holiday destination that you will want to visit again and again.

Known as the most romantic city in the world and an amazing to experience, Paris is truly a beautiful place. The city has many different areas and tourist attractions that will keep your holiday and future visits surprising and fresh.
Ebookers have bargain deals starting from £195 per person staying for two nights in a two star hotel.
The Marena is a quant, five-storey hotel with the traditional French décor and feel. Great for Restaurants, lively bars and close enough to the Opera, Montmartre and the Gare du Nord.
For a weekend, stay in this three hotel will cost £208 per person including flights with British Airways. Alternatively, the La Pera, a four star hotel situated moments from the Place de la Madeleine. In a lovely small and quiet street, this modern styled hotel will cost £345 per person based on two nights stay. Very classy rooms with that premium edge that will bring that Paris trip to life. www.ebookers.com
With a city like Paris, there is not a shortage of things to do. One thing to remember though, is that this city is not as small as you may think. It is a big place so getting around is best by the Metro service or if you do not mind stretching your legs then walking along The Seine River will really help you absorb the culture of Paris.
Moulin Rouge is the famous erotic show and dinner evening with so much history tired into this one place that you have to go just to say you have been there. Show prices start at €89 for 11pm or €99 for 9pm. If you prefer dinner as well then prices start at €145 for the French Cancan menu and €175 for Belle Époque menu.

For some fantastic art and history, the louvre is an excellent choice. The famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci hangs proudly among its walls as well as Venus de Milo, the famous ancient Greek statue of love and beauty. It is just a shame that the original arms are no longer intact to this beautiful marble sculpture.

There are many romantic and adventurous things to do in Paris in the evening time. The Buddha bar is a temple like bar with Asian inspired food and ultra cool DJs playing special sets for all the funky Parisians. The food and cocktails maybe pricey but it is worth spending those extra euros for the atmosphere.
Le Meurice sets the scene for a romantic French meal for any loving couple. Set in the Hotel Meurice, the dress code is classy and the décor is authentic classic French.
What a romantic place this city is, from the grand shopping malls with key original features to the small cute coffee shops that line the streets, Paris will always be a favourite among the romantic folk and European city lovers alike.

This is one of the most famous cities for being controversial and a true eye-opening experience. Amsterdam really will be an impact as soon as you touch down on the tarmac. Home to the red light district and unique ‘Smoking’ policy, many visitors enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and energy that this vibrate place brings.
For a beautiful hotel the Renaissance in down town Amsterdam offers a four star service with a fitness centre and on site restaurants. Prices start £270 per person based on two-night stay in May. Alternatively, for that bargain choice the Hotel Inn is a better option. Close to the RAI train station and to the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, it is in an ideal location.
Price for this hotel is around £230 based on the same nights stay.
There is plenty to see and do in Amsterdam. One favourite, which has to be seen, is the Museum of Anne Frank, which is based in the original Annex that the family hid in for so long. Entry is €5.50 and it is advisable to get there early, as a queue round the block is enviable. If you have read Anne’s Diary then this will be a moving experience, as it will bring the turmoil and the suffering of these eight people to life and you will remember what others died for to end the Second World War.
In addition, the Van Gogh Museum is well worth a visit. The Famous artist has over 200 paintings and 600 drawing on display. If you are a big art fan then this is necessary treat to see some real treasures created by Vincent van Gogh.
For a good evening in Amsterdam, a fantastic restaurant maybe what you are looking for. The Sluzier Restaurant is a relaxed environment; where you can sit back and enjoy the evening unfold. The food is great but has more of a French inspired menu rather then the typical Dutch. The décor is a comfortable one and a two-course meal starts roughly at €70. If you fancy Chinese food, you could always go to China town on Zeedijk Street. Bargain noodles are at every tune and the manic and busyness of great food being prepared and enjoyed, is all part of the fun of dining there.
Amsterdam is a beautiful city with many tales of woe and history that is engraved into the houses that line the rivers and streets of this amazing city. With The floating flower market to visit and night boat cruises that show how romantic this city is, there seems to be endless reasons to why this place is favored by many and why it’s exciting to those first time visitors.

This Beautiful city is truly a feast for tourist attractions. From the fantastic Colosseum to the Piazza Navona, which is one of Rome’s most loved Squares, there is so much to see and do.

Ebookers have Bargain Flights from London to Rome from as little as £250. The Scott House is a great hotel, which is conveniently close to the Termini central station. It is a two star, 5 storeys, 19th Century building with original historic features and is close enough to the surrounding bars and shops. The prices for this hotel start at £312 flying with British airways based on four nights stay in September. If two stars is a little to too low for you then the Ranieri would be an excellent choice, purely because is it is set in the same location. This hotel is again 19th Century with 24-hour entry and laundry service. Prices for the Ranieri are slightly more at £338 flying again with British Airways for the same period stay.
Of all the places to see, the Vatican Museum is a top attraction when you visit Rome. From the Gallery of the Tapestries to the Sistine Chapel with the Last Judgment by Michelangelo, it really is an amazing sight. The Borghese Galley and Museum also holds some excellent sculptures and painting. The Fountains with the Eden gardens heighten your experience when you take a walk round amongst the greenery and beautiful grounds.
As well as the daytime, there is plenty to do at nighttime. With great restaurants and bars, Rome is alive and beautiful at night as it is in the day. Bar Del Fico is a wonderful bar to sit and have lush cocktails in the stylish décor or outside enjoying the warm summer evening. It is very relaxed atmosphere and is great to sit and have a talk about what you what to explore the next day. Other wise the Scoglio di Frisio (right) is a restaurant that is family ran and originally founded in 1928. The inferior is nearly unchanged since then and hosts fantastic seafood, Italian pizza and hand cut pasta.

Rome really is a cultural and eye opening experience. It is full of great entertainment and great places to see and be. Rome is truly a city you will want to revisit and remember as a pure treat.

Visitors that flock to Milan are always surprised by the city. It never seems to be what you would expect. As one of the Fashion capitals of the world, it has a heavy industrial influence with old and new surrounding. Many original features are still present but you know it has moved on from its past and has a firm hold on the future. Bargain Flights and hotels to Milan start from £220 for a four-night stay at Dei Fiori and flying with British Airways. The Hotel has 24-hour entry so no limit on what time you return at night, car park, laundry service and the usual mode-cons you would expect from a hotel. The Dei Fiori is just outside the city centre and is 200m from the restaurants and bars in the area. If you are willing to pay a little more then the Best Western Hotel Major (left) is slightly more expensive at £250 for this four star hotel. Close to the Centre and situated in the trendy area of Porta Romana, getting around the city will be easy as the Subway station is close by. Both Prices for these Hotels are based on four nights stay in June from ebookers. www.ebookers.com

Even though the city is modernised there are still some great historic places to go and experience. The grand Cathedral in Milan is just amazing outside as it is in. With fantastic sights of the city from the roof and the chance to explore the exterior, it is truly a sight.
The other must see is Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘The last Supper’. The artwork is at the Santa Maria delle grazie (right) and is amazing. However, you have to be prepared to queue and maybe in for a long wait but the masterpiece well worth it.
Milan has an array of many different places to experience and explorer for nightlife entertainment.
Palo Alto is a great bar to have a nice buffet with tasty cocktails. Can get crowded at times but the loft style setup sets the scene nicely.
Hollywood is the one of the most famous clubs in Milan and Italy for that matter. Many A list Celebrities show their faces there. Make enquiries before you set off as it maybe a guest list only night or private venue.
Milan is a great city to explore and absorb. You feel safe there but be warily of the pick pockets that operate in the tourist areas and the beggars trying to sell you bird seed for the pigeons and bracelets that they actually put on your wrist without your permission. They can be pushy but just be firm and walk away.
It is a beautiful place with that Italian culture that is loved by many and appreciated on all levels. The food and drinks is not too expensive and it is an experience to just enjoy a pizza right outside the Milan Cathedral.

Venice is one of the most remembered and loved cities in the world. A City built completely above water and a real treat for any globetrotter. The city, 1400 years ago was protected against invaders purely because it was two to three miles from Italy’s shoreline but the city also had their own political views to that of the main land and I think that it is even shown today.
From the Gondola’s that line the rivers to the amazing architecture, Venice is a truly romantic city with the intention of falling in love. A Gondola is a very traditional and fantastic way to see the city but be prepared as it can be expensive, especially in the Summer time as all tourists like to experience them. Flights to Venice are a Bargain at £152 with British Airways in August for two adults return. Check out ebookers for those great deals and bargain flights.

The Pantalon is a cultural and authentic hotel in the artistic of Venice. The area has much nightlife so you do not have to walk too far to return to your bed at night and is also close the Art Academy. Staying in August for six nights will be £471 for two adults. The Pantalon is a three star hotel.
Piazza San Marco is the most famous Square in Venice. The Square appears to be enormous but really is only 175m long.
Museo Correr (right) is a Gothic and Grand Museum that you enter via a staircase. It was originally built as a grand entrance to the Napoleonic Royal Palace. They are many sculptures by Canova throughout and you can see the Royal Palace, the neoclassical rooms and Renaissance Bronze. Entrance fee is roughly €12.
Nights out in Venice varies with hundreds of different things to entertain you. BacaroJazz is fantastic for the lie Jazz scene and is open until 2am. If a club or Live Music does not incise you then why not visit a Casino is Venice. The Casino Municipaledi Venezia (www.casinovenezia.it) is the summer hit with visitor and the locals. You can have a turn at playing Roulette, blackjack and video Poker. You need to be 21 years to play and make sure you take your passport along for ID. The Dress code is smart so make sure you put on your smartest for a night of gambling.
Venice truly is a rich and enjoyable city. The history surrounds you and you get the feeling that you have stepped back in time, as so many original features have left intact and that is what makes it so unique. Walking the little streets and alleys are wonderful as you get the feel of the city and you learn why Venice wanted to set itself part from Mainland Italy.

This is one city that can inspire visitors of all ages. With its fantastic cultural buildings and that traditional Spanish feel, Barcelona breathes life into your holiday and you can see why it is loved by so many. The general atmosphere is relaxed and very vibrate.
Expedia offer great package deals with lush hotels and Flights. For two people staying for a week in June you can enjoy a stay at the Silken Concordia for £358 per person including your return flight with British Airways, departing from Gatwick.
If you want some history with your hotel, the Nouvel Hotel has been a place to rest visitor’s sleepy heads since 1917 with period features to show the hotels ordinal roots.

Get fantastic flights and discount, bargins and value for money from ebookers!

Diagonal Av is the main strip that is most popular with tourists as it is perfect for easy access to the cities attractions. It is bursting with Malls for shopping and is wonderful for a spot of coffee and a lavish desert.
Barcelona offers many different activities for different holiday makers. New Camp is a definitely worth a visit. FC Barcelona has a beautiful stadium that is really a sight to see. There are different types of tours with different levels of excess but its worth seeing as much of New Camp as you can. Another of the Cities gems is the Gaudi Cathedral. Antoni Gaudi is the architect that truly transformed Barcelona with his gothic Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia (Church of the Holy Family) that changes the out line of the Barcelona’s skyline completely. It’s just tragic that the architect died in an accident before it was completed in 1926. Building did not resume until 1979 and it still going on today.

The People of Barcelona are very friendly with that relaxed European feel. The younger generation do speak some English where as their elders tend not too, so maybe best to learn a few phases, especially when getting a taxi. You do have to very careful of pick pocketing and there are also a few con-artists that operate in the area posing as the Police who may try and offer their help. Just Decline and walk away. Be very straight forward as they may try and persist.
Night life in Barcelona I lively and there are many excellent places to visit. Club Apolo/Nitsa is a lively club that was originally an old theatre. Dance-a-thons are on at the weekends but the question is can you last until 6am? If you’re not ready for the clubbing scene you can visit the London bar which has a fairly arty vibe with live music most nights. Prices of drinks do go up at 9:30pm but would still be cheaper then London.
Barcelona is an experience of a live time. It is truly beautiful in the summer and will be a firm favorite of any holiday maker.

The Big apple – What a great name for a city that is so diverse and inspirational.
New York has always been a favourite with families and lovers for years and after all this time it still has not lost its appeal.
Nevertheless, the best thing about this American city is the Bargain prices you can fly there for.
Zoom www.flyzoom.com offer fantastic flights to a range of cities including New York and prices start from as little as £250 return (including Airport tax). There are varied flight times through out the day but you have to be fast as at these prices the seats go very quickly. JFK Airport is great for Transport links into the City. You can get the Subway, which will be about $7 or call for a registered taxi that will set you back about $20. Usually the favourite for holidaymakers is to take the famous Yellow cabs from the airport but be careful as sometimes they charge more than they should. Once in the City, taking a Yellow cab is fine and very reasonably priced.

As you can imagine there are hundreds of things to do and see that any big City has to offer. The Empire State building is essential but queue early in the morning as you will then miss the crowds. Also Times square is simply amazing at night and if you have never seen it before then you will never forgot how amazing and vast it is. The City is broken up into little areas such as Chinatown, Little Italy and the Meatpacking district but the best way to see this city is to walk the streets and breathe it in. Like all major cities, New York can have its Dangers. Pick pockets operate in the streets and subways but Police are frequently around and you generally feel safe walking around at nighttime. In addition, to help you get home the Subway trains run 24 hours a day.

Bars and Clubs are everywhere you turn and draw in a number of different crowds. Bette (above) http://www.betterestaurant.com is a bar/restaurant on West Street that has fabulous cocktails and great food. Many Celebs such as Nicole Kidman have dined there for its cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.
For an even cosier and rather popular restaurant, there is August on Bleecker Street. It gets busy there so make sure you book a couple of nights in advance.
