Even though the city is modernised there are still some great historic places to go and experience. The grand Cathedral in Milan is just amazing outside as it is in. With fantastic sights of the city from the roof and the chance to explore the exterior, it is truly a sight.
The other must see is Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘The last Supper’. The artwork is at the Santa Maria delle grazie (right) and is amazing. However, you have to be prepared to queue and maybe in for a long wait but the masterpiece well worth it.
Milan has an array of many different places to experience and explorer for nightlife entertainment.
Palo Alto is a great bar to have a nice buffet with tasty cocktails. Can get crowded at times but the loft style setup sets the scene nicely.
Hollywood is the one of the most famous clubs in Milan and Italy for that matter. Many A list Celebrities show their faces there. Make enquiries before you set off as it maybe a guest list only night or private venue.
Milan is a great city to explore and absorb.  You feel safe there but be warily of the pick pockets that operate in the tourist areas and the beggars trying to sell you bird seed for the pigeons and bracelets that they actually put on your wrist without your permission. They can be pushy but just be firm and walk away.
It is a beautiful place with that Italian culture that is loved by many and appreciated on all levels. The food and drinks is not too expensive and it is an experience to just enjoy a pizza right outside the Milan Cathedral.

Venice is one of the most remembered and loved cities in the world. A City built completely above water and a real treat for any globetrotter. The city, 1400 years ago was protected against invaders purely because it was two to three miles from Italy’s shoreline but the city also had their own political views to that of the main land and I think that it is even shown today.
From the Gondola’s that line the rivers to the amazing architecture, Venice is a truly romantic city with the intention of falling in love. There are many things to see and do in Washington. The Lincoln Memorial has to be one of them. It sits proudly in front of the reflective pool and has the impact of greatness as you take to the steps. The Lincoln statue itself is far bigger then you originally perceive but still amazing to see. The Natural History Museum is also a must. The People are very friendly, open to tourists and always keen to hear what side of the globe you came from. Just walking the streets and finding yourself in front of the White House is what really makes this City so Unique. Washington DC s a beautiful and clean capital that bursts with life at night and obtains its reserved state by day.

The best way to see this city is to walk the streets. Every street has somewhere to explore and you should recognise some of the buildings and fountains as they featured in the movie ‘The Sound of Music.’

The Mozart Museum is worth a visit. The musician was born and lived in the house from 1747 to 1773 and features a small collection instruments he had at that time. The Museum was actually first opened in 1880 by the International Mozart Foundation and it a beautiful yellow building that is typical Austrian architecture.

The Salzburg Cathedral is also a sight to behold. It is the most important early baroque building north of the Alps. They are beautiful photo opportunities from the balconies that show off the amazing mountains and farmlands that are so rich with colour and life.

If you are seeking some nightlife to Salzburg, many bars and clubs are in the city to be explored. Chez Roland is a family run bar, as most businesses are in Salzburg. The bar is a favourite with the locals and loved by tourists that come across the place. For a pub with that homely texture, O’Malley’s Irish Pub is the place. With good Irish food and Guinness, you can imagine it is busy at the weekends, as it does not close until 4am On Fridays and Saturdays. Salzburg is a beautiful place that has friendly people and wonderful sights to see. Diagonal Av is the main strip that is most popular with tourists as it is perfect for easy access to the cities attractions. It is bursting with Malls for shopping and is wonderful for a spot of coffee and a lavish desert.
Barcelona offers many different activities for different holiday makers. New Camp is a definitely worth a visit. FC Barcelona has a beautiful stadium that is really a sight to see. There are different types of tours with different levels of excess but its worth seeing as much of New Camp as you can. Another of the Cities gems is the Gaudi Cathedral. Antoni Gaudi is the architect that truly transformed Barcelona with his gothic Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia (Church of the Holy Family) that changes the out line of the Barcelona’s skyline completely. It’s just tragic that the architect died in an accident before it was completed in 1926. Building did not resume until 1979 and it still going on today.

The People of Barcelona are very friendly with that relaxed European feel. The younger generation do speak some English where as their elders tend not too, so maybe best to learn a few phases, especially when getting a taxi. You do have to very careful of pick pocketing and there are also a few con-artists that operate in the area posing as the Police who may try and offer their help. Just Decline and walk away. Be very straight forward as they may try and persist.
Night life in Barcelona I lively and there are many excellent places to visit. Club Apolo/Nitsa is a lively club that was originally an old theatre. Dance-a-thons are on at the weekends but the question is can you last until 6am? If you’re not ready for the clubbing scene you can visit the London bar which has a fairly arty vibe with live music most nights. Prices of drinks do go up at 9:30pm but would still be cheaper then London.
Barcelona is an experience of a live time. It is truly beautiful in the summer and will be a firm favorite of any holiday maker.

As you can imagine there are hundreds of things to do and see that any big City has to offer. The Empire State building is essential but queue early in the morning as you will then miss the crowds. Also Times square is simply amazing at night and if you have never seen it before then you will never forgot how amazing and vast it is. The City is broken up into little areas such as Chinatown, Little Italy and the Meatpacking district but the best way to see this city is to walk the streets and breathe it in. Like all major cities, New York can have its Dangers. Pick pockets operate in the streets and subways but Police are frequently around and you generally feel safe walking around at nighttime. In addition, to help you get home the Subway trains run 24 hours a day.

Bars and Clubs are everywhere you turn and draw in a number of different crowds. Bette (above) http://www.betterestaurant.com is a bar/restaurant on West Street that has fabulous cocktails and great food. Many Celebs such as Nicole Kidman have dined there for its cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.

For that sweet tooth, Magnolia Bakery also on Bleecker is a great place to stop for that late night Cupcake. Once featured in Sex and the City, the Cakes are creamy and a Bargain at $4 for two!
